Songs are works of art, some are great short stories, others blend music and words in such a profound manner that it strikes an emotional chord within you.
The art mediums such as collages, mosaics and stained glass takes singular works of art and pieces them together to form a larger, sometimes more expressive work. That is the aim of the Tapestry show. To take a theme (sometimes more than one) and try to "weave" different songs together with a similar theme. Suggestions are always welcome, it makes it even more enjoyable. |
