A
Novel Idea: Behind the Bookshelves is an innovative Book of the
Month Club that invites you to enjoy the company of authors, agents
and editors whose work we are featuring. Go “behind the
bookshelves” to learn how a book goes from conception to
publication, hear what’s happening in today’s competitive
publishing market and find out Oprah’s direct phone number. (Or at
least hear the name Oprah mentioned). My fabulously talented guests
have poured their heart and soul into their work and are offering
you their bird’s eye view of publishing at no cost or obligation
(although cash donations to
HomegrownRadioNJ are always appreciated).
A book club where you get the
story behind the story…what A
Novel Idea!
Helen Coronato is an author,
educator, full time mother and book nerd who’s work appears in
numerous parenting publications. Her first book "The
Complete Idiots Guide to Reading with Your Child" (yes, that series) was
released to rave reviews summer 2007 (her mother-in-law loved it).
She has two more non-fiction books being published in 2008 – "The Only Real Estate Investing Book You’ll
Ever Need" (Adams Media) and "Eco-Friendly
Families" (Alpha/Penguin Books). She has hosted A
Novel Idea for over a year and while none of her listeners
have been invited to appear on Oprah, many of them are better
prepared to answer the call when it comes. For information about
future programs and upcoming projects drop by for a visit at www.helencoronato.com.
